Every AI writing tool has to answer one question honestly: is it a tool that writes for you, or a partner that writes with you? We built NarrativAI around the second answer, and Muse is where that promise gets tested.
Muse never pretends to be invisible. While you're drafting, a collapsible panel shows exactly what Muse is doing. Listening, Suggesting, Drafting, Safety Checking. So you always know who wrote what in your own universe. That transparency isn't a UI nicety. It's the whole design philosophy. Your OCs, your lore, your call.
The OC Vault and lore bible are live in Beta now. They're the continuity backbone that catches contradictions across chapters, so your character's eyes don't quietly change color halfway through your story. The Writing Streak has also been reframed around momentum rather than loss aversion. Miss a day and Muse says "welcome back," never "you broke your streak." A missed day should never feel like a failure.
We're roughly 75% through Beta and closing in on launch. The biggest remaining lift is Director's Cut branching narratives, plus a final safety and sponsorship review pass before we open the doors wider. Beta writers are already living inside their universes. The Midnight Aesthetic, the OC Vault, and Muse's five states are real today, not a mockup. What's left is polish, not invention.
