1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ohventures.cc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms govern only your use of ohventures.cc itself — our portfolio marketing site. They do not govern your use of any product operated by OperaHouse Ventures. Each of our products has its own terms; see Section 5.
2. About OperaHouse Ventures
OperaHouse Ventures is a U.S.-based holding company that builds and invests in emotionally intelligent AI software. It currently operates as a sole proprietorship of Alistair Farr, with Delaware limited liability company formation in progress; upon formation, OperaHouse Ventures LLC will succeed to the rights and obligations under these Terms. The Site describes who we are, our team, and the products in our portfolio.
3. Permitted Use
You may access, view, and share the content on ohventures.cc for personal or professional information purposes, provided you comply with these Terms and applicable law.
4. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Attempt to breach or circumvent Site security, rate limits, or authentication.
- Scrape the Site at a volume that impairs availability, or in a manner that ignores our robots.txt or standard crawler etiquette.
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content (text, imagery, code, brand marks) as your own, or in a manner that misrepresents your affiliation with OperaHouse Ventures.
- Use the Site or its forms to submit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content, or to impersonate another person.
- Use any automated system (bot, scraper, generator) to submit waitlist signups, or to send bulk or automated messages via the Site's contact links.
5. Portfolio Products — Governed by Separate Terms
The Site references and links to products operated by OperaHouse Ventures. Each product is governed by its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, not these Terms:
- NarrativAI (D2C creative writing platform) — governed by the NarrativAI Terms of Service and Privacy Policy published inside the NarrativAI product.
- OperaHouse (B2B hospitality CRM/PMS) — governed by the product agreements executed at the time of onboarding.
- CullAI — currently paused; product-specific terms will be published when active.
If a conflict arises between these Terms and a product-specific agreement in respect of that product, the product-specific agreement controls for that product.
6. Forms & Submissions
The Site offers:
- Waitlist signup. By submitting the waitlist form, you provide your name, email, the product you're interested in (NarrativAI, OperaHouse, CullAI, or General), and an optional message, and you consent to receive updates about the product(s) you selected. Submitting the waitlist form is not a purchase, subscription, or binding agreement — it's an expression of interest. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message we send, or by emailing [email protected].
- "Get in touch" links. For general inquiries, product/support feedback, or careers interest. These are
mailto:links — clicking one opens your own email client addressed to the relevant inbox; what you send us is entirely up to you.
Do not submit sensitive personal information (government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information) through the waitlist form or in any message you send us directly. If you send us a career submission (résumé, work samples, portfolio) via the careers "Get in touch" link, you represent that the material is yours to share or is licensed for sharing, and you grant us permission to retain and review it for the purpose of evaluating you as a candidate.
7. Intellectual Property
The Site, its underlying code, brand marks (including "OperaHouse Ventures," "NarrativAI," "OperaHouse," "CullAI," and associated logos), copy, and design are owned by OperaHouse Ventures or its licensors. No trademark or copyright license is granted to you by your use of the Site, other than the limited, personal, non-commercial right to view and share the Site's content in unmodified form with attribution.
The open-source portions of our codebase are governed by their published open-source licenses (see the applicable repository at github.com/OperaHouse-Ventures). Nothing in these Terms overrides those licenses.
8. Third-Party Links & Services
The Site contains links to third-party sites (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio-product marketing pages, press mentions). We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of those third-party sites. Your interactions with them are governed by their own terms.
9. "As Is" and No Warranty
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the content is accurate or current. Statements on the Site about our products, roadmap, or portfolio may change at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OperaHouse Ventures, its owner, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OperaHouse Ventures from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site or its forms, or (c) content you submit that infringes a third party's rights or violates applicable law.
12. Termination
We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13–15 survive termination.
13. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising from or related to these Terms lies in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, except to the extent a mandatory consumer-protection law of your home jurisdiction with a materially greater interest in the dispute displaces that choice.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Effective Date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and OperaHouse Ventures regarding the Site.
